Avira Antivirus provides personal edition which has no cost for non-comercial use. Usually updating antivirus database needs online connection, but Avira makes you possible to update using offline Virus Definition Update.
- Download Avira Incremental Antivirus Update from http://www.avira.com/en/support/vdf_update.html or you can pick it directly Download IVDF (unicode).
- Open your avira antivirus.
- Select Update -> Manual Update
- Browse to Virus Definition file you have to download on your local computer.
- Finish.
